A Word Of Welcome

You’re Welcome at Trinity

Whether you grew up in a United Methodist church or you’ve never set foot in one, we’re glad you found us. Trinity is a congregation with deep roots in downtown Martinsburg and a warm welcome for whoever walks through our doors.

Trinity is part of the Martinsburg Cooperative Parish, sharing pastoral leadership with our sister congregation, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, under Senior Pastor Rev. John Clark Mayden, Jr. and Associate Pastor Rev. Mary Jo Sims.

Our doors are open, our hearts are open, and our minds are open — come as you are and worship with us this Sunday.

What We Believe

A Wesleyan Faith

Trinity is a United Methodist congregation, part of the Baltimore-Washington Conference — grounded in grace, Scripture, and a warm welcome for all.

01

Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors

That's the United Methodist promise, and it's ours too. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, there's a place for you at Trinity's table.

02

Grace for Everyone

We believe God's grace reaches out to all people, at every stage of life — inviting, forgiving, and shaping us to be more like Christ.

03

Scripture, Tradition, Reason & Experience

Following John Wesley, we read Scripture as our primary guide, in conversation with church tradition, reason, and the lived experience of faith.

04

Connected in Ministry

As part of the Martinsburg Cooperative Parish and the worldwide United Methodist Church, we do ministry in community — never alone.

Life Together

Ministries at Trinity

We are more than a Sunday morning. From music to Scouting to serving our neighbors, we grow, gather, and serve together.

Music & Choir

Our choir leads worship week to week, lifting hymns old and new for the whole congregation to sing.

Scouting Ministry

Trinity is proud to charter Scout Troop 25, meeting Tuesdays at the Orchard House, forming character in the next generation.

United Methodist Women

A community of women in mission — supporting one another, serving our neighbors, and giving to causes across the globe.

The Martinsburg Cooperative Parish

Trinity partners with St. Luke's United Methodist Church in shared ministry and outreach across our community.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

— John 3:16
